Black White & 1 other Ladybugs - Birds Scrapbook sisters

Another pleasent weekend --managed to complete my entry for the "PoppyCraft class" which was design a "spring theme" on an old cigar case ----I was quite surprised how nice it turned out --will take a photo soon and load it on .

This is my entry for the Ladybugs comp  Black White & one other  have use Blue as my other on the ribbon and background holographic card.

For the Scrapbook sister comp I would like to enter the following

Used Tim Holtz bird cage and the Hanging Frame (top part) with a few of the Heart die's I purchased the other day ---at the bottom of the cage I have hung beaded safety pins which I found in the childrens art section in a local shop---my photo doesnt really show them too well --- quite fiddly but that could be something to do with me not finding the holes very easily --more to do with my eyes I think - due to pick up my first pair of reading glasses this week --not bad I suppose for fifty plus ---blaming it on the computer printouts --ha ha-- everything is getting smaller and the 0 & 8 seem to look the same !!

Aunts cards

I enjoyed making these as I do not seem to be able to do the "pretty" style card 's I see so often from my friend at work Sue ---who really is to blame for me getting into card making --- but as they say practice makes perfect !!

I used the same LOTV image on both cards --using two different colour variations --- I then made a flower arrangement from the little flower bunches I purchased from "Poppy crafts " the other week --spent ages trying them at all different angles until I thought it looked ok --added some of the sixxis swirls and paperflowers with brads-- mind you they needed boxes made to put them in ready for delivery.

Going dotty

Well here goes with my first blog entry --I have been meaning to get around to starting this up for a little while . Had a lovely day yesterday sitting down crafting as I have two aunts birthdays coming up this week ,time passed by as usual , only stopped when I  got to the point where I was hungary so needed to grab a bite to eat.
